linden blossoms are among the best-known natural remedies for colds with coughs. They have a diaphoretic, antipyretic and generally calming effect. Linden blossom tea is also good for the stomach, gall bladder and intestines.
The leaves, flowers and fruits are edible. The young linden leaves harvested in spring can be used in salads.
